Dr. Berryman interned at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Mass., from 1971 to 1972. Following his internship, Dr. Berryman began practicing veterinary medicine in Aurora, Colorado where he developed a special interest in ophthalmology under the guidance of Dr. Charles Garvin, a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist. He began practice in Omaha in 1972 at Harless Animal Clinic in Rockbrook. Since 1972, Dr. Berryman has strived to improve his ophthalmology skills by attending many seminars and post graduate courses concerning treatment and surgery for conditions of the eye in cats and dogs. He is highly sought after by referring veterinarians and receives cases from across Nebraska, Iowa and other states.

In 1999 Dr. DiMari decided to make a career change and began pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine. During his time in veterinary school he was inducted into the Phi Zeta Sigma Chapter for academic excellence. Upon graduation he received the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists Award. Dr. DiMari began practicing veterinary medicine in 2006 at Sapulpa Veterinary Hospital in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He and his wife, Shelly, have three small children and two golden retrievers, one of which was rescued by Golden Retriever Rescue in Nebraska (GRRIN).
Under the tutoring of Dr. Berryman, Dr. DiMari has performed numerous eye surgeries. He continues to expand the scope of his skills with practice and study and has completed numerous ophthalmology courses at the North American Veterinary Conference.
