SPECIALIZED SERVICES
LASER SURGERY AND THERAPY
We provide two new laser instruments for the care of your cat or dog. The “hot” laser is used for certain surgical procedures, such as declaws and wart or skin tumor removal. It allows surgical cutting with a minimum of blood loss and less post operative pain.
The “cool” laser is used for joint therapy in older arthritic animals. It is also used to stimulate bone growth after orthopedic surgery by stimulating the blood supply. Often we use the “cool” laser to relax stressed muscles after surgery or injury. The controlled use of the laser sensation increases blood flow to the affected areas. Some animals are put on a laser schedule of a set number of visits for continuing therapy.
OTHER SPECIALIZED SERVICES
In addition to the laser, we provide the latest equipment for performing ultrasounds, endoscopies, cardiology diagnosis, ophthalmology, EEG (electroencephalography), surgeries for orthopedic injuries, thoracic surgery, cryosurgery, spinal surgery(disc surgery), oncology, and oxygen therapy. Our veterinarians have had extensive post doctorate education in all of these procedures. Each doctor takes pride in his/her ability with one or more specific areas of expertise.
These services may be offered to you directly by one of our veterinarians or they may result from a referral by your current veterinarian.
Behavior counseling is also available and is often the result of a referral from another veterinarian. |
Billing Policy
Payment is required at the time of service unless a prior arrangement has been approved by the office manager. We accept cash, personal check with proper ID, MasterCard, Visa and Care Credit. We do not send bills.
