TESTIMONIALS
Ann Maupin
"I have been taking our pets, Sneakers and Jasmine, to Harvey Oaks Animal Clinic since 2002. The years of expertise of the Harvey Oaks Doctor's combined with the friendly, helpful staff is the main reason I keep my pets in the care of Harvey Oaks. I have complete trust in the health care and decisions for my pets. It gives me a peace of mind that everyone should experience with a loved pet." Sneakers is one of our well-behaved feline friends. Note how calm she is in the exam room.

"We here at MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue are so grateful for this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for the thoughtful, loving, and professional care consistently extended to our rescued Bostons by the doctors and staff of Harvey Oaks Animal Hospital.
"We have had the pleasure of working with Harvey Oaks for over five years. Here, we take in Bostons of all ages and conditions--often severe injuries to the eye. Never have we been given anything but the highest quality medical evaluation and prognosis, explained in "layman's" terms so that we may act in the best interests of the dog."
"Welcomed and treated with the highest professional expertise.
Never rushed and always representative of the highest standards of medical care, Dr. Berryman and Dr. DiMari (specializing in ophthalmology), and Dr. Arndt (orthopedic care) have been untiring and unfailing friends. Most importantly, they are an especially great support to us as a rescue agency by extending their services and time at our annual fund raiser. Depending as we do, as a rescue agency, on the "kindness of strangers", we are deeply grateful for the sincere interest, support, and assistance extended to us by the extraordinary staff at Harvey Oaks Animal Hospital."

Double Trouble
"Our very active 6 yr. old Drahthaar (the German registry for a German Wirehair Pointer) had reoccurring sty's and eye infections over the years in one eye. In 2005 we once again had trouble getting rid of another problem, which finally lead to a search for better help. We live in Lincoln and finding an ophthalmologist in Omaha was the answer we were looking for. Dr. Berryman found a double infection , conjunctivitis and blepharits. His treatment and the follow up visits brought a complete recovery.
Then November of 2006 brought us another problem. Being an upland
game dog in the field a lot, we discovered that Lena had an acute problem with her right eye. Not knowing at the time what the problem was we went to a local vet in Lincoln. He failed to see that it was a scratch, give her a steroid antibiotic, which lead to a corneal ulcer. Back to Harvey Oaks where we began the process of surgery and a slow
recovery. This showed us that the equipment that they have there and the experience they offer is something we don't have access to anywhere else.
The final chapter to our double trouble story ends in the fall of 2007. Once again after some time in the field we had an eye problem, but this time it was her left eye. There was a foreign body that had to be removed. The hunting trip ended in North Dakota and back to Nebraska we came. Dr. Berryman did a great job with this and said if
we hadn't gotten that removed she would have ended up with another corneal ulcer. So that eye was treated and healed very quickly thanks to the good help we found at the Harvey Oaks Clinic. Her vision was saved and we can proudly say she holds the Nebraska Quail Championship title for 2006 & 2008. Thanks Dr. Berryman !"

Golden Retriever Rescue in Nebraska
"As a rescue group, we need quick access to quality veterinary care for Golden Retrievers who come into our program. We love working with the people at Harvey Oaks. They make it easy to get an appointment, often on short notice; they make it easy to handle billing for a large volume of dogs; most importantly, they take excellent care of our Goldens. For years they have helped us to heal and rehabilitate dogs in need. We are always impressed with the depth of ther experience, breadth of services and genuine compassion for our companion animals." |
